Weird phone call

Ok so I got this weird message on my home voicemail. I was kind of surprised as it went to my home number which I almost never give out (usually use my cell phone). The message was:

Hi, This message is for the primary driver of the Nissan 370z. I am calling regarding a Kate(?) Automotive research study taking place in your area in February.

It pays $150 for those who quality and participate. There is absolutely no sales involved. If it is something you are interested in please call me Ann B(?) at 1-800-975-2585 and have your phone number and reference number when calling back. Thank you

Anyone have any idea what this is for? Anyone else get a similar call?

I did one for my MINI Cooper, but it was a different company. I went there and got interviewed for an hour and walked out with $150 cashier's check. Easy money. I don't know about your company, but I doubt it's a scam. Just don't give them your SSN or any other sensitive information that is not public.

they do these sometimes. feedback survey or competition. buncha questions, how do you like this or that, compare it to this car or that etc.

I got a call for an nissan marketing related focus group shortly after buying my 370z... but only got payed $100... :ugh2:

After that meeting , there was a Nissan Cube focus group... it was fun to see a parking lot full of Z's and Cubes.

I got about 20 calls for some girl named Loretta recently from all the local colleges around here.. I mean, I can see mis-typing your own number once in a while, typo etc.. but how do you give out the wrong number to 20 different people.. stupid biatch.

Liquid G, sounds like some hot girl named Loretta is giving out your # as her fake number whenever she gets hit on (just a theory)!
