Need your help! Urgent!

I've been searching around for 3 months for a good deal on a PW, and a PW only. I was thinking about getting a base with sports package but then I found this rather well-off guy selling his 2010 with 2800 miles on it, Touring with sports/navi for $32,900. It has some mods such as intake/exhaust/short shifter/tints/ecu upgrade. I went for a test drive and liked what I saw. I called him up the next day to negotiate and finalize the deal. He doesn't want to budge and says 32,900 firm. There's another guy from Cali that's on the car as well. The car is in Massachusetts. Given it's on eBay and I know PayPal will take a 2.2% cut, a $700 cut, and he will actually take 32,200. Shouldn't he accept an offer of 32,200 cashier's check? I didn't actually bring this up to him yet, I just told him I'll call him back after he told me he was firm bout the price. His feedback is 100% and has a history of selling high-roller cars. If he doesn't sell the car, then he says he'll just keep it for another summer to drive. He has 9 cars.
I'm going to have my mechanic friend negotiate with him tomorrow morning to see if he'll change his mind.
Any thoughts? As you can tell, this is my first time buying a car.

Reads like he's a broker, but he does have an excellent eBay feedback. His Buy It Now is $32,900. You can always bid on it up to close.

There are better mods out there (e.g., exhaust, intakes) but it "looks" nicely done.

he can take or not take whatever he feels comfortable doing. Unfortunately, people aren't always rational.

I feel like you could easily get a much better price on a similar car though.
