From G2Z....check out the Midwest Regional, held in Chicago this year. The Midwest Z Heritage, June 10-12th with cars from all over the area.

Its a public road now or at least it was last time was there. They close it down for special events.

It's only another 4 to 5 hours further. But Road Atlanta is more of a worthy track.

Here is a secret about the track/public road-it was submitted to the County as a public road to allow a local sales tax option to pay for it...it was designed specifically as an Indy Lights track to allow the group that was pushing for a track to court Nascar with-so while it is a public road, it is also a Nascar approved track with completely modern track design and features- ten transitions, opening curves-don't take my word for it, bring your best tires, a can of your favorite Energy drink, and put it to the test.

Road Atlanta is a great and different track, but no more worthy-This years Porsche Parade, and Ferrari Club of America will be on the island before and after us...do you think these guys would be settling for our "public road" for their yearly conventions If Road Atlanta was really more worthy?

Add to that Savannah was the home of the First, Second, and Third International Races ever held in the USA-and home of the original World Famous Victory Drive...

I think I may need to get myself an oil cooler before I head out to Zcon2011.

2 Minutes of joy ride last year Zcon2010 in the blazing heat TN... oil temps were 260+

Hmmm, oil cooler just moved to the top of my list.

We have this on the calendar and hope to be there. Trying to figure out how to get both cars there. I need a BIG trailer. :)

Registration is open! Get the Oil coolers installed, the Water Wetter in the radiator, and the stickiest tires you can get on your wheels, and come show this public road who is boss!

That is only 200 mi from me and i have plenty of friends in Chicago. they are 4 mo. Behind on the newsletter.

I should be there, and hopefully making a return to the Coastal Z Club too in the coming weeks. You guys have come along way since we started back with Dave and (the other) Mike. Who knows... The Nismo MAY be sporting twins by then.

Swap Meet
 

On Thursday, from 10-2ish we will have a swap meet for Z parts and Z Stuff -any registered guest can present his/her convention ID and back his or her Z into a parking place and swap/sell strongly Z related items. Sponsors will have the option of using multiple parking places, and different vehicles! Rules will be posted and security will be provided.

I'll be there if I pick up my Z before then.

Gonna call the wife n see if she can get off. Soundz hot.
