6 Speed Manual or 7 Speed Automatic?
Just wondering, which is faster, the 6 speed manual or the 7 speed automatic transmission?
|
7AT is faster.
(waits for the shitstorm to come) |
Should have searched but Vegitto-kun is correct

The 7speed is apparently faster... In a straight line. Don't get me wrong, I own a 370Z auto but I'm sure the 6speed would be faster on a track with lots of turns and brake intensive. I love my auto as my DD though.

I like charburgers and cheese fries.

I'd have to say the six speed. I don't have any solid facts to compare to. The six speed has less moving parts. Thus meaning the six speed would not lose as much power threw the drivetrain as an auto. That to me would seem to rev faster also.

It is a Sport Car MT even if it is a tit slower. However it will depend on the driver!

6spd is more fun. /thread |
I like vanilla! :drama:
But last I heard, the auto's a click faster in a straight. |
On the average, the 7AT is faster in the 1/4 mile by about a 10th of a second and also tends to trap slightly higher.
