Paul walker has to build a car in every F&F that he's in. So expect him to has two different cars.

Ignorant question...

What is "rice" ? from what I understood it is putting stickers and green lights under a dodge neon to make it go faster, not to mention a big soda can of a muffler.

I may be wrong but the 370z has been said to be the newest thing in drifting, doesnt seem ricey to me at all.

RICE stands for Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancement. Some say rice trying to refer its japanese or asian you know the whole ignorant food association with a culture thing. I think the latter was first then they tried to justify it as a non offensive term by saying its a race inspired cosmetic enhancement. Kinda like when some ppl refer to crotch rockets as rice rockets, then you know it wasn't meant as R.I.C.E. but to refer to the origins. Asia. It just doesn't sound right when you apply it to a car. We use to say ghetto, or p.o.s., or pimped etc... but I think the new term might be " garbage ". The new movie looks pretty good, had no idea the Rock was in it. The 1st 2 were good then they got kinda sucky. The last one wasn't that great. This one looks pretty good. Man I already get radar by cops every chance they get, now they're gonna follow me thinking imma kid or something. :icon14:

I don't think cops are gonna leave this movie and say to themselves "man that Z is in F&F maybe I should pull them over"

1 Look that the Z and you knows it's fast.

"Rice" is a term from the 70s that started in California when the domestic guys saw the asians guys with the Toyotas, Nissan, etc. hook up and sometimes beating them in races. Then they start calling them rice, why? Because that is their main dish, rice!

However, these days people use the term for people that puts a lot of stickers, big wings, neon lights, etc. on their cars.

Yes, but typically it had nothing to do with winning or losing a race. What a "ricer" used to be was any car that was sold as a Japanese car with a 4 banger or small displacement engine.

We all know the origin came as derogatory toward Japaness and what they eat. Now it's used as the "poser" term for cars. I think of cars that are not typically thought of as sports cars being used as street racers. Cars like honda accords/civics and Mazda 6 sedans. This also in my mind includes the namesakes used in NASCAR, like torus, charger, and impala. Come on people these are meant to be family cars not race cars so stop it.

Haha... so I guess the NASCAR stock cars are ricers? :bowrofl::bowrofl:

Just messin' with ya.

Lemers 12-17-2010 02:43 PM

There is nothing stock about a NASCAR but the name A NASCAR is propose built. I'm refering to the guy who buys an impala because he's seen them go 180 mph in NASCAR and expects his to be just as good with a little modification.

NASCAR should drop the stock from their name.
