FWIW the quickest stock 5.0 I've seen ran a 12.4x at 114.x. Like the quickest stock 370s tend to be, it was an AT. |
Interesting...

Yeah. They said on their post over there that they were looking for evenly matched cars, which to me would be a full bolt on 370Z Sport vs. lightly bolt-on modded 5.0 w/ Brembo package.
Stock for stock the 5.0 is faster in a straight line but on a road course the Z would beat the non-Brembo 5.0 and get beat by the Brembo 5.0. The Brembo cars get the sport suspension and summer tires like the 370 Sport. We'll see, though. If it is true and they pick this guys car against, say, Bullitts 370, then there's really no point. :icon17: |

Maybe I can run the 1/8 mile in reverse hehehe That may even the odds a lil bit...
but in all seriousness I would probably run on spring pressure unless its a gt500 then im gonna bust some balls! |
Trying to see what I can do, but it seems not a lot of Houston owners are stepping up.

Bullitt's car against the GT500 would be nice, but I'm not sure how the Z would compare against an '11 GT. :dunno:

I would love to take my twin turbo and represent for sure.

It is great seeing this actually come to fruition with parties on both ends being contacted! I hope the competition will lean more heavily towards the auto-x and the figure 8 so the Z is at a larger advantage.

I am sad to say I will have to bow out of this one. I could be ready but at the detriment of not having the VVEL unlocked. So I will take the more tuning time to make sure we get the most out of VVEL development.
