winter storage

I am going to store my z in the next few weeks for a period of 4 months in a non heated private garage and I am wondering if my plan listed below is fine or if I should do something else

1) change the oil
2) top tank and put stabilizer
3) increase tire pressure to 40/42 psi
4) drive car for 30 mins
5) wash/clean/wax car
6) clean underside of the car
7) hook up battery to battery tender

should I put rubber/carpet mats under my tires? should I leave a window partially down for air?

This is the first time I store a car soo I am worrying a bit about doing it right/wrong.

Cheers

1) change the oil (no need)
2) top tank and put stabilizer (i dont use stabil)
3) increase tire pressure to 40/42 psi (good!)
4) drive car for 30 mins ()
5) wash/clean/wax car (if you wash make sure it's completely dry)
6) clean underside of the car ()
7) hook up battery to battery tender (good!)

place car on Flatstoppers. :)

driving the car for 30 mins was in relation to the oil change/stabil

as for cleaning underside of a car before storing I thought that was a standard thing before you store your car...

are flatstoppers that worth it? Seem pretty expensive

yah, you do want to drive the car around alittle bit if you mix stabil in your fuel.

washing your car's undercarriage is case by case. i haven't washed my Z this year, only QD and waterless washes as i dont drive the car in rain.

yes, flatstoppers are worth it. considering tires are 1200 to replace, 250 or watever it was is nothing imho. i have 2 sets. one for my G and one for my Z.

Had a chance to get the Z out of storage today and had the second longest drive since owning the car. what a great feeling, even though the little break in the weather won't last long. turned off the VDC too.

I know winter is almost over, but i had a quick question about storing it. Would using jackstands to take the weight completely off the wheels be better than Flatstoppers? Or is that what flatstoppers do?
