Low Tire Pressure Indicator Light

The light illuminated on the ride to lunch. All tires were 31-33 psi. I know the recommended cold setting is 35 psi. How sensitive is this system?
Additionally, as I found out, the light does not let you know which tire is low.
:eekdance:

I think it lights up at 30 psi or less.

If you have a Sport package Z, all tires should be at 35psi cold. Fill them up and monitor them over the next day or so. You might have a small leak somewhere.

yah this time of year you need to be pumping more air. 1psi change for every 10F.

im set mine at 38.5psi last night inside my 55F garage cause mornings are down 35F ish now... (would be about 36.5psi at those temps). i like my tires around 37.5psi cold for most driving.

and ofcourse, dont forget the spare needs 60psi.

I had the same thing happen to me... Its very sensitive! I put mine at 37psi. You have to check all of them.

In the past few weeks I had this happen on both my 370 and my Murano as it has happened on most of the vehicles I've had with TPMS...you just need to make sure they are filled and monitor now and then; especially with significant fluctuations in temps. :)

That is something that I missed about the 350Z, you could telll which tire was low on air.

Unless your tires are filled with Nitrogen must likely it will happen during the changing of the weather.

On my old lady Toyota SUV if the spare was low on air the light came on too. I don't know if the spare of the Z will have a sensor too, probably not.

Doesn't matter if they're filled with nitrogen or not.

Nitrogen is supposed to solved that problem. The stealership wants to charge you $125 for Nitrogen in the tires. However with the temperature drop in W. Virginia all my tires dropped around 5 psi and the the light came up.

Coming back on the trip after a few hours of driving the light went off. Still going to take to the dealer to get it service with Nitrogen.
