Advice please

I would like to ask for some advice.
The set up: Nissan has offered me a 7 year/100,000 mile warranty extension as compensation for my oil consumption issue, resulting in a new short block replacement. Warranty extends only to power train and exhaust. I already have Nissan Gold warranty 8 year/84,000 almost bumper to bumper already. It has a $50 deductible. I have planned to modify the exhaust. Since in 8 years, I will never drive anywhere near the 84,000 miles, 100,000 only sounds better. I do intend to drive this car well beyond 8 years.
Question: Am I gaining anything? Should I continue to ask for new Catalytic converters, since they have already had six quarts of oil burned over them? Should I ask for something else.
Thank you in advance.

Unless the tech checked visually the cats to insure they are clean? they should probably be replaced to ensure your exhaust flow is like it should be

Unchecked. I did have a lot of carbon powder at the exhaust tips.

I should have apologized at the beginning of my previous thread.

Thats about the only thing I would worry about. If you run HFC's later on? then no biggie.

Bi-annual smog check law applies to my county. I don't want the hassle of on again off again cats.

Nissan has determined with me, that their offer is without benefit to me, and they will call Tuesday with a new offer. Plus I will soon meet with a Nissan engineer at the dealership along with the service manager, and the master mechanic that did my short block. We will go over exactly how Nissan determined that my car didn't need a long block as everyone else wanted and recommended. In other words, Nissan, without inspecting the oil starved heads running at 260F degrees, disagreed with the master mechanic, determined the heads perfectly fine. That the catalysts were determined fine too, while they have yet to be inspected.
