I did it I bought my 370z Black 6 speed not a Cayman substitute great car on it's own

After a year of looking I finally purchased a black Z new base model. I began by looking at used 911's Boxsters a BMW Z4 and Corvettes. I was not looking for a Porsche substitute. I could have bought a used 911 or even a new base Cayman.

My last sports car was a 280z and before that an E-Type Jaguar. I was looking for a fun good looking performance car at an affordable price. The 280 ,Jag and the 370 fit the bill.

I am impressed by the 370. I think the car has excellent build quality and a great interior. I purchased the car for 26999.00 plus conveyance fee and tax. The car feels solid like my 2004 325ci.

This is a new 2010

Damn that must suck. I remember when I was 16 and my mom bought a brand new Acura RL and they kept it for 5 days.. We had a nice loaner at least.

don't let them detail your car. they're going to massacre the paint. they arent going to clay it. they'll just polish and wax it and grind all the rail dust and sediment into the paint and you will have terrible swirls.

Congrats on your new ride. I have to agree with Jeff on this one. They may not "massacre" it but they don't have experience and/or now how to do the job right. They may end up swirling the paint to some degree. I would cancel the detail and pick up your car right away and have a professional do the work. I operate my own detailing business and can speak from experience on this one. Also, find a detailer who comes recommended by someone you know. If not at least look at there work first, as their are a lot of hackers in this business. A new car prep shouldn't cost you too much $.

You also need to decide on the clear bra NOW. Don't wait just drive it strait to the shop that will do it before you get that first paint chip.

Otherwise just live with the crappy nissan paint. The only thing that you have going for you is that you can make the paint look very nice with an adams 3 step paint correction.

I was going to get a clear bra but decided that I really liked the paint all polished up and decided that I would live with the paint chips...
