From Manila to Vegas...haven't seen a 370 yet

Hi Everyone, my office sent me to a conference in Vegas. 14 hours of flying from Manila to Vegas sucked but Vegas has been really fun! I've been looking around for 370Z's and haven't seen any around. I've seen a couple of 350's and soooo many mustangs and camaro's but 370's are nowhere to be seen... You guys need to start representin our 370's! :hello:

toxik 10-20-2010 07:16 AM

who would want that?? i rather there not be a 370z everytime you look outside, keeps the car more exclusive and exciting. you think anyone gets excited when they see a mustang or a camaro as you mentioned?

TongMan 10-20-2010 08:07 AM

I have only seen a 370z on the road when in my 370z while driving past a dealership, but it was likely a test drive. I like being exclusive. I get compliments while filling up as gas stations. A lot of 350z and G's like to ride next to me on the streets.

I love having a car you don't see much. Everytime I do see one I get excited. I wouldn't be able to do that with a camaro, mustang, or corvette (unless its a ZR1).

chuckd05 10-20-2010 11:05 AM

i was just in vegas for a week, didnt see one 370, but a guy let me know there was a 350/370/s2000 meet the saturday i left. He worked for exoticsracing... which you should check out...

go drive a ferrarri or lambo around las vegas speedways road course, well worth every penny. 299 5 laps in f430 399 in scuderia or merciolago ... 50 each extra lap...

I did see a silver GTR while i was there though

dorkidori_s13 10-20-2010 08:14 PM

370s arent very common here for some odd reason...i think its because theyre a LITTLE on the expensive side and vegas is still one of the top cities thats being effected by the recession

there are a lot of hyundai genesis' floatin around though ;) *droooooooooooool*

ducky 10-20-2010 08:30 PM

I usually see a 370z when I'm driving my s2k..am I suppose to wave them down and say I have a 370z too? Lol

That i know but not very distinguishable since they look similar and everywhere. Tends to blend into the background with the other cars.

pookienachos 10-22-2010 04:54 AM

Hrmmm, it's odd that I live in Louisiana and SR20DET 240's are a dime a dozen. Everyone has one or knows people who do. Same with 370's. I would have expected to know more people with 5.0 Mustang GT's and Camaro's, but I only know one person with either car, a girl I work for the same company with has a '10 SS. There is a Z at my complex, my friend, Ben, has a Z, and my friend Will builds tonnes of 240's. He's always chopping/welding/modding one for someone.

Maybe it's because I live near a large military base. This town defys every rule about the south except obesity and teenage pregnancy.

Simple ID?
V6 has tiny middle headlights, GT has big middle headlights--and 100hp more.

i think every model before the current gen, you could distinguish them easily by looking at the rear ends...the V6s always had a single exhaust pipe while the V8 models had two exhaust pipes on each side of the rear bumper

ThoriumHotdog 10-22-2010 03:27 PM

Since I started paying attention I've seen 3 370z on the road and 1 Nismo in a parking garage. Other than that, nadda. I don't drive around as much as I use to but I still see loads of Mustangs everywhere I go. I'm sure if they made a 4 cylinder 370z with 180 hp we'd see them more often. :)

Now, G37s/G35s are different. I was on I-10 the other day and saw FIVE rolling somewhat close together. I thought they were a car club or something since the lead car was pretty modded but they spread across the highway and eventually took different exits.

doubleG370Z 10-22-2010 04:15 PM

Maybe this is a good thing, I didn't want a car that everyone has ie. bimmers :)

Then you shouldn't drive a Nissan, lol

370ZNV 10-22-2010 07:23 PM

I took my bike from Toronto, Canada to Boca Raton 2 weeks ago, only saw 1 370Z ...in West Palm Beach no less.

zmyride 10-22-2010 10:16 PM

In Vegas, people either drive a clunker or Lambo. anything in between is a rare sight.

Still did not see a single 370Z in the San Francisco bay area but...

saw one at San Jose Chloe's Cafe at around 8pm last monday. It was pearl white with sport pack. Does it belong to anyone on here? :)

LuckyJinx 10-27-2010 12:02 PM

Maybe because you flew.
