Damnit! White, silver or pg?

So, i found a used white 370z that seems to be in great shape. My only reason for hesitation is the color.

PG and then silver are my prefered colors with White coming in third.

Anyways what do you guys think. Should i get the white or wait for a silver or pg (sport, manual, low miles, 26k-27k) to show up. Its not a bad color by any means, I'm just not sure if it looks sporty enough and i would thnik it would get dirty very quickly.... sorry for the rant, this is just starting to bug the $&!* out of me! I would probably have to make the desicion soon....

If it's in excellent condition, why wait? If you really cannot live with the color, do not buy it as you'll regret it in the future.

Asrtosfan, I felt the same way. I was hoping to find a silver or a red one when I was looking. It came down to the white or yellow (I just didn't think I could live with the yellow long term). I could not be happier. The white is actually very easy to keep clean. It looks good on the Z (well, what color doesn't, really?!?). I think it adds a classy touch to the car. I get a lot of compliments about the color (especially the way the pearl white shimmers in the sunlight).

So, I say go for the PW!

I'd prefer the Silver less maint, and it's stunning in the sun. Pg is a close second, white is nice but more maint and hard to color match down the road. Your choice? :tiphat:

ClemsonWill 10-19-2010 02:33 PM

Hold out for the color you really want. I bought a car because it was such a good deal. Two years later I found myself looking around for the same car in a different color. It's a lot of money to spend. Wait until you find exactly what you want.

All great advice in this thread.

:iagree: again. I narrowed my choices to PG or BS as well. Both for maintainance and police interest.

:iagree: But I could live with white probobally. I really wanted cobalt green, but I'd still be waiting for it.

LuckyJinx 10-19-2010 03:30 PM

White is pure sex.

c41006 10-19-2010 03:53 PM

Yea, police interest, or lack thereof, is pretty important to me. I've never been flashy or really wanted to stand out in a crowd.

Im the opposite, they will know it is a 370z, they will know it stands out, and they will know its a red nismo. That's just me.

Regardless of the color, you'll attract enough police interest.... at least here in Canada that has been the case (or maybe the driver profiling has some contribution to it)

Then it looks like you chose the right car sir

Astrosfan 10-19-2010 04:16 PM

Police attention is not enough of an issue for me to to consider another car. I'm actually suprised I don't get more with my red Mazda6(a color I regret getting). It looks good when its clean but almost pink when really dirty. Very annoying.

Whoever designs the red hues for Mazda must be color blind. Either too bright or too dark.

Opps, sorry for the thread jack.

Get the White!!

VCuomo 10-19-2010 04:55 PM

Get the PG (but then I'm biased)! :)

kenchan 10-19-2010 04:57 PM

silver is the way to go on this car. compliments the titanium door handles and wheels very nicely. :p

but then i have 3 silver cars and a white for some reason...

tjlazer 10-19-2010 04:58 PM

Get the color you really want. I am doing a Nismo conversion all because I love Blue...

Endgame 10-19-2010 06:28 PM

Wait for the color you truly want. That is not to say that you cannot THINK you want one color and decide you like another much better.

That said, SILVER FTW! I am so glad I got Silver.

sonic370 10-19-2010 07:22 PM

if you want to stand out hold your ground and wait.
if not get the white or silver... any color looks good on the z.

my only issue with the silver or white is it is such a popular color.
seems like every car or truck on the road is either white or sliver.

imho in order it is Red, M Blue,Black,Black Cherry ,Yellow

370Zsteve 10-19-2010 07:27 PM

They don't call it Brilliant Silver for nothing! :tiphat:

White = any color = WTF when dirty
Silver = Black/Grey/Carbon = Looks ok even dirty
PG = Black/Grey/Carbon = Looks good even dirty

Indeed and I agree, I got hooked on Pearlish White Cars (extra cost otpion back then) when I had my 94 300ZX. Since I have had Pearl White in the Maximas and Z's since and get compliments often on the colors. :tiphat:

tmjohansen 10-19-2010 09:22 PM

White is a great color. My only problem with it is that often the plastic parts of the car seem to look a different shade of white than the metal parts with white pearl paint and that would bother the hell out of me personally. I say Silver!

I am so glad I got Silver too. Cool in the sun and easy to keep looking clean. Women have said it is a mature color, so I don't know if I should be offended, or accepting of my age.:rofl2:

joseZhartford 10-20-2010 10:46 AM

get gun metallic ,looks like nissan discontinued pg for 2011 check the nissan website
