So who's the first to wreck the 370Z?

Someone posted this from another forum. :icon08:

Very sad images :(

Probably here

It's a sad loss... I've had a few close calls that would've got myself in a wreck to avoid something disastrous (i.e., hit the concrete wall to avoid being the 4th in a chain collision).

Your question was who was the first to get into a wreck, right? The guy who got rear ended came before the guy who hit a pole. Or did you perhaps mean to ask who is the first to total a 370?

BanningZ 03-13-2009 04:44 PM

^thanks semtex I was kind of confused by his response myself and in agreement with you in chronological order the rear ending occured before the total.

semtex 03-13-2009 04:57 PM

Right...if the question is who was the first to total a 370, then I would think that it's this poor guy in Texas. Mind you, I'm assuming that it's a total loss from the picture. I'd be very surprised if it isn't, but you never know.

What question? I didn't ask a question. I was just pointing that the first to "wreck" was the guy in the first post, not the link provided a few posts later.

I'm confused now.

LOL. Sorry for the confusion, I wasn't paying careful enough attention to who was posting what. For some reason I thought you were the OP. In any case, disregard my post; I think I misread your comment. The title of this thread is 'So who's the first to wreck the 370Z?' So when BanningZ provided the link to that guy who got rear ended, he was saying 'That's the guy who was the first to wreck the 370Z'. Then when you in turn replied with 'It can't be that guy', both BanningZ and I thought you were disputing that the rear-ended guy had his wreck before the guy who smashed into a pole. But now when I go back and re-read the sequence of threads, I realize that you thought BanningZ was replying to AK by saying that AK had supplied the wrong link, and you were simply pointing out that the link that BanningZ had supplied couldn't be right because it went to a guy who got rear-ended, not a guy who smashed into a pole.

Clear as mud? Yeah, that's what we get for mucking about on a forum on a Friday night! :inoutroflpuke:

DIGItonium 03-13-2009 06:42 PM

Haha... yea clearly the guy who got rear ended didn't "wreck" his own Z. What doesn't make sense is the location where it happened. You've got to be going at high speed in what seems like a "slow" zone, swerve, jump the curb, and launch the car in the air like that.

OMGWTFBBQ 03-13-2009 07:50 PM

Haha. Sorry for all of the confusion!! I didn't mean to mess this thread up.

Anyways, DIGItonium, have you seen that picture of the M3 that flipped into a house? It was a residential area, so the speed limit was pretty low. The kid somehow ended up leaping over the sidewalk and into someone's house. Anything's possible really.

M3 got owned.

Or you could be like this lady:

i didn't even know this could even happen.

semtex 03-14-2009 07:38 AM

That's an M3? It looks like some generic station wagon to me. And if you look at the grille, it doesn't have the BMW kidneys.
