Custom shops in Dallas?

Hey Dallas natives, needing a little help. I'm eyeing a base sport 370z and my only issue with any model 370z is the crappy stereo. So I'm looking for a custom shop that might be able to remove the seats. Rip out the whole storage area of the 370z and completely redesign it to look like the dodge viper stereo area. That way the rear space will be only dedicated to amps and subs while keeping my trunk...
Having someone to help me with finding a talented custom shop would most likely much seal the deal on the Z for me cuz I'm an audiophile. Its why I chose the G last year. I can fit a sufficient custom stereo easily. I can't ride without great soundin' music... (i'd hate to trade my G but... I'm in love with the Z)
The viper has a great system for a 2 seat sports car and I think that setup would work great for the Z. BUT, not being a dallas native. I don't know what custom shop would be able to handle such a job and make it look like the car was built like that. Lastly, none of my dallas friends are into customizing n crap like like that. So my resources are few and far between in that arena. Thanks in advance for any info.
:tiphat:

Try jr's custom in irving. Theyre on 183. They do all kinds of custom stuff, not just stereo. Good luck

Yes, its near the old Dallas Cowboys Stadium.

I would suggest Car Toys but they are hella expensive.

You could start googling around your area for custom stereo places. I would hope you have already done that.

Also, I have you thought about doing it yourself. I will be a lot of work, but it would be plenty satisfying knowing you did it all your self.

Or you can just build the MDF frame to house all your speakers, then let the custom shop do all the fiberglassing, sanding and painting. But of course all the labor is in the fiberglass work, hours upon hours of sanding.

Yes. It's on the south side of the freeway, big bldg and a big sign you can see from the road. it's a little bit east of o'connor rd.

Call Martin Castro and let him know Trey sent you. He can hook you up and can refer you if needed. Doesn't charge the high prices and gives you great service. 214-541-7087.

Yeah I actually went online. The few places that popped up had a lot of customer complaints. I find the best way to really get a good place is to ask someone who has had work done. What better place than an enthusiast forum. :)
I went to car toys. They are a joke. They charge outrageous prices and when I mentioned trading my G for a Z. They told me "We hate working on Z's. Its impossible to get a good sounding system in there." If you think somethings impossible? Then ur not the one for the job. So now I'm here seeing what you guys think?

JR's is kind of pricy

AutoSound in Bedford has a GREAT portfolio and knowledgeable techs.

He's young and upcoming, knowledgeable, personable, and owns the business. He is slowly building his clients which I believe allows him to charge less. He is in the loop 12 and 635 area. He is in the process of moving his shop. Anyways if he was a d*ck, I would definitely not refer him. Good luck.
