lol... like i posted on the other thread, just get another cheepo dd. i have 2 little kids of my own and that's why i have 2 Honda Fit Sports. one for me, one for the wife.

by next year im hoping my younger kid can get in/out of his seat by himself so that i can rid one of the Fit's and use my G35C as my dd. the older kid obviously has no problems getting in/out of my G so on the weekends he rides along with me. it's a pita to buckle up kids in a 2 door anyway.

ProfessorDave 09-15-2010 11:55 AM

Keep feeding those kids, Ken! Soon they'll have their own cars to clog your spotless garage (my daughter drives a Fit, BTW)

kenchan 09-15-2010 01:07 PM

uh-oh... :D

It's a 4-door sports car. It comes with a sticker on the back window that says so.

I have my dd but's a 2 door civic. I may be trading it in for a Fit if getting the baby in the back is too difficult.

i know the maxima is a pretty nice car, but i hate that 4 door sports car bs... i mean really? 'hey man, nice 4 Door Sports Car! How much power are you putting to the front wheels through that CVT?'

not sh!itting on maximas, but when you call a car something it's not, its gonna get made fun of. just like if someone called the Z a supercar. its not.

well it's not impossible but a PITA when it's raining outside or snowing and you're in a rush to get somewhere. you want to try to minimize any potential PITA moments cause your hands and mind will be full with the new born.

at least the first yr you can use the rear facing infant seats. those are just a cradle dock so clumsy but not terrible. it's when you start strapping them into the 5-point. it's going to cost more, but get the Recaro child seats and boostsers. i use them on 3 of my cars and they are by far the best to use.

also remember the longer you take to buckleup the kid, you're vunerable to a crook in a parking lot at night. :ugh2:
