Future Z34 Apparel Ideas...
 

hey guys...since i have received such a warm welcome from the Z34 community (seems like RWD guys always love their cars the most heh) i wanted to get some input from everyone...

i recently had the pleasure of working with AK on your official forum shirts and also i currently have a vendor special running for my limited edition all over print Z34 shirt (which can be found BY CLICKING HERE)...but i thought it would be a good time to ask what kind of shirt designs or apparel would you like to see from me, DorkiDori Clothing, as well as AK and myself, official The370z.com forum apparel, in the near future?

feel free to post pics from around the web of the stuff you guys like...shirts, hoodies, hats etc...id like to get a good idea for projects to work on in the future for DorkiDori as well as offical The370z.com Apparel items :)

unless you mean the name of the website (the370z.com), thats one thing i cannot and will not offer to any customers...i have terms and conditions from nissans legal department that i have to follow...i cannot break trademark law if i am to continue what i am doing for a living with DorkiDori ;)

Personally, I like stuff thats simple and doesn;t have alot going on. A polo/t-shirt with the outline/silhoutte of the top of the car with the370Z.com, Z-car, or Z-34 below it would be cool. Just an idea.

I wouldn't mind something more minimal. I'd be interested in a t-shirt and a long sleeve shirt (for the track days).

Yeah, thats what I meant. The website name with a nice text and/or logo. (see decals from AK)

Hoodies!

I would buy a polo shirt with just the Z silhouette. Like in "CMikes" signature (I included it below for reference).

Quite simply, I'm never going to buy T-shirts, because it doesn't fit my lifestyle. I can only wear T-shirts on the weekend, and I already have a billion t-shirts anyway.

Although I said I would buy a polo, I have do have to clarify that it couldn't have "the370z.com" advertising on it. My workplace, like most professionals, would frown on having a company advertisement on my professional work attire.

It seems like most of us around here are grown adults, which I would think means that most of us are not interested in these trendy overstated "Ed Hardy" type of designs. Maybe I'm wrong, and others can chime in, but I think the subtler the better.

On a serious note, I wasn't really referencing the previous shirts, just commenting on the direction I would like to take (if I were going to purchase a shirt).

I like the polo idea! If you do T's again, I would also like to see graphics on the back and maybe only the logo on the front left. I don't like big graphics on the front.

I agree with the silhouette idea. If it's on a polo I can wear it to work if there's no advertisements for other companies on it (sorry AK).

With that said, I'm known for showing up on Fridays in my Arsenal jacket with it's humongous 'FLY EMIRATES' logo :rofl2:

sooooo...there was someone who said "hoodies"...would you guys be interested in a Z34 hoodie design for winter time? perhaps around late october?

I'd be interested in a Hoodie, but the design couldn't be anything too crazy. Keep it nice and simple.

As it's fall, going into winter, I'd like to see what you can do with long sleeve stuff! Whether it be hoodies, track jackets, or long-sleeve T-shirts. And as far as what parts of the Z to feature, I love the side profile, and any design that shows off either the "hips" or the sloping coupe roof of the car.

Yeah, I kind of like the idea of a light jacket better, something with a zipper. I'd prefer cotton/fleece based.

So far it seems that all the shirts have had pics of the regular 370z. I'd like a shirt with the Nismo design. I've been passing up the shirts that have been offered as I wait for that option to surface.

Also, I guess another option that would be my ideal shirt would be one that had sketches of a few different gen Z's. Having owned a couple of different gens, it would be nice to show my love for all Z's. If I had the ability to draw anything other than a triangle, I would have already designed one on cafepress.

problem with getting model specific is that, thru my experience, most of you guys wont touch shirts that dont have your EXACT car on it...unfortunately i cannot make everyone happy...i might give thought to doing a NISMO edition Z34 shirt, however, until they have propigated enough or there is a large enough demand for them, im going to have to stick to the traditional Z34 look

as far as a multigenertional shirt...i may play with that one day...i currently offer shirts for the S30, Z32 and Z33 though...the catalogue will be back online in a week or so...i need to finish up a few hoodies for the season before i put it back up
