What colors would you like to see on the Z?
 

The 7 colors currently available, well, they don't do a whole lot for me. I think PG is my favorite. I strongly prefer sparkly metallics to "flat" colors, and I prefer darker shades over bright primary colors.

Colors I would want:

A deep green metallic. Similar to british racing green, or the polo green used on the C4 and the Camaro for a few years in the mid '90s. Imagine a dark green Z with tan leather interior, that's a classic look. But nobody makes green cars anymore!

Dark (navy) blue metallic. Like green, nobody makes navy blue cars either. It doesn't have to be navy, as long as it's deep and on the darker side of blue shades, something far away from baby blue or sky blue. Something like the GTO's Midnight Blue metallic or Impulse Blue metallic would be OK, or the Admiral Blue or LeMans blue on the early C6 'vette.

A deep, metallic red (not flat). Similar to Magnetic Red, Monterey Red, or Crystal Red on the C6 Corvettes.

(Can you tell I like Corvette colors, just not the price tag?)

I really liked the San Marino Blue Pearl on the 350z.

Daytona Blue from the 350Z, bright white (not pearl), and a really dark gray like the Graphite Gray off the old Lexus IS300.

Dark blue metallic. I am considering waiting to see if they have any new colors for next year...

Yeah, that's exactly the same color I'm after besides black. Lexus does a good job with their dark blue metallic on the IS350. Just wish it was on the Z.

Viper Green - an old 911 color. I had a 73S in this color years ago. Wish I still owned it.

Charcoal Gray [Lexus IS350] that would be perfect and for a more exotic look, Lambo orange

DAYTONA BLUE!!! I love blue cars, but this blue on the 370 is a little on the light side for me... Now I am thinking silver or black... (dont know about keeping it clean though)

i like blue on the 350z it was cool but the blue that on the 370z is light and dont like it . hope they bring back Daytone blue

MKIV Supra's came in a color called Anthracite for a couple years early in it's cycle that I always liked, though owners often referred to it as MSB (Monkey Sh¡t Brown)...

Although I feel that the 370 really looks best in lighter shades the show the depth of the design, a lot of the details are lost in the darker colors I think.

They must be holding out on the darker blues to save it and stimulate sales for next year. An ace up their sleeve if you will...

BAYSIDE BLUE!!!! I LOVED that color on the R34's and my 240 conversion... Best blue I have ever seen....

You'll notice that when the sun hits the 370 and the 350. That the colors with more metallics and pearls will have more body line definition. Thats where a color like PG will pop. Thats why Lemans Sunset was so cool IMO in the sun light. It gave the car a whole new look.

That matte blue is the color I wanted to paint my Trans Am a few years ago... AWESOME color.

the way they get that matte finish is from a Satin clear coat.

Wow, nice!! I've never seen that Lambo matte blue!, Looks very nice!

It would be good to have more choices from Nissan of those exotic colors in the 370z and/or GT-R.
