Nismo 370z...

I had a 40th anniversary and I found a great deal on a 2010 black nismo 370z so I did it...I love it so far but is the car supposed to be soo crazily bouncy? I am comparing it to my anniversary Z.

Nismo has more aggressive suspension therefore it's more bouncy. Also, check the sticky in the NISMO section. 90% of the Nismo 370zs left the dealer lot with plastic spring protectors. You need to remove those. Congrats on the purchase.

Yeah if the spacers are still there then you will have no spring travel, it's like having 5000 lb springs.

^+1, removed mine after a week and noticed improvement.
It is a very stiff car. Actually the stiffest stock suspension that i have ever seen. I love it though.... :)

Also check your tire pressure. My NISMO came with ~45PSI when the recommended (see driver side door sill) is 35PSI. It made a difference going over small bumps.

How hard is it to tell if the plastic protectors are still there? I don't have a jack, or do I have to take it to dealership? Also does it hurt the car if they are still there?

^read the sticky.....

I went to dealership and they took them out, total from both sides of the front end there were like 6 of them...its still bouncy but that's normal from the nismo Z's huh? Also having those taken out, does it improve cars handling?

Yes it does improve the handling, now you can pull extra 0.8 Gs around the corner and slalom speeds increase by 6.3 mph...

You should feel a pretty significant difference when going over any bumps or non-smooth pavement. I remember prior to removing those spacers, my Nismo felt like an old wooden roller coaster.

It should improve handling, but probably not enough to feel unless your speed-racing around town (or track!)
