The paint sucks but since you own a G now you probably already know that.

My Z used about a tenth of a quart of oil on my little road trip of 1000 miles, 90% of it on tight back roads at high RPMs. Ran hot but did not consume oil...

i know all about the Nissan paint issues, but i was REALLY hoping they figured that out with the 6 years time... how is that new nissan technology working (the clear coat thing)? is it just a marketing scam?

*i cant find it in the search for some reason, but i remember reading a post by ak370z about the official Nissan response to the oil issue.. Are dealers installing the oil coolers around the country or just specific ones? Does installing the oil cooler give the dealer the ability to refuse to do warranty engine work after, even tho its a genuine nissan part? Sorry if all this is restated, i lost the original thread.
