debating...need opinions.
I purchased a 40th anniversary 370z and I'm wondering if I should of gotten a nismo one...I love my interior and that I have a lot of options compared to nismo that doesn't even have premium sound/leather, etc...what do you guys think?

Don't understand those replies, it was just a simple question.
|
If you bought the car, what are you debating?
|
yeah, if you got the car already, it's not worth it to trade it in, it's not like the nismo got twin turbos in them, might as well save your money on some mods. Besides your 40th edition interior is sick, I will keep it just for that.
|
It's replies like the first two that already are starting to make me feel uncomfortable at this place.. Keep the my350 douchebaggery outta here.
Just keep the 40th anniversary, very nice interior.. Comes out only one year. Nismo is just some aero and a little bit of performance tweeks. Nothing TOO crazy. Hope this helps! |
keep the 40th! i like the nismo but its not thaatttttt great to try to trade it back in. not even worth it
|
I don't like the look of the Nismo at all. Whilst the 40th looks unique & class, the Nismo looks boy racerish. I'd keep the 40th and never ever consider the Nismo which I personally despise.
|
I like the Nismo front, but the rear wing is a bit too over the top for my liking.
AND I don't like cloth seats in any car costing in the $40k's. :p But I'm a leather junkie. :excited: But the Nismo has its cachet and justifiably ample following. I gotta ask then: WHY did you purchase the 40th? What did you like about it that you pulled the trigger? Did you look at the Nismo's too? You obviously made some conscious choices back then. What changed between then and now? |
i love my 40th...i thought i wanted a nismo at first but then saw a 40th in person...they are both great cars...with a few mods you will have more power than a nismo anyway...with a great interior

I think there's no discussion. You should have had that thought before signing the paperwork on your 40th anniv edition.

The 40th is unique. With a better interior for sure without purple. Had the dealer not been willing to deal on my '09 coupe I certainly would have gone for a 40th. |
The I love the color of the 40th not to mention the interior compliments it perfectly. You should definitely stick with your original instinct. The amount of money you would lose trading it would probably be way more than buying stock nismo bumpers and painting them to match the 40th. Not to mention you would still have your 40th bumpers if you ever wanted to go back.

Hey bro, welcome to the site, I like the nismo and I like the 40th too but honestly if you can change it up for just a few thousand more but not too much more, I say go for it. While the mileage is low and everything is pristine, see if the dealer will work with you. The last thing you want to do is feel like crap and look in the garage and be like "I wish I got a nismo"
|
I am keeping my 40th, you guys are right...more class and rare.
|
I was gonna say you keep the 40th otherwise I'll shoot a cute bunny in the head

Having purchased a Nismo last October I have learned much over the past several months. I plan on being a Z owner for life but my next Z will be a non Nismo model. Until then I will enjoy driving my Nismo and will eventually make some changes to it. Enjoy your 40th and welcome to the boards  |
I would have to say keep the 40th also.
I work at a small company. I had my black 370Z for 8 months when a guy here bought a black Nismo 370Z. After a month of jokes about us having the same car I started to get people telling me how the wing on the nismo was ridiculous, and one guy asked if I could have gotten that "junk" on mine. Opinions here are split on the wheels. I like the Nismo wheels alot, but not enough to get rid of mine and buy some. Now I am not trying to bash the Nismo, but I tend to think the regular (and 40th Anniversary) versions of the 370Z may age better without looking dated. |
Might wana hold on to the 40th dude
