Will VSS and Ebreak bypass void warranty?

Title says it all, I did the 2 bypasses but I am having some trouble with my ipod and bluetooth so I want to take it in for warranty work (touring with nav). I don't know if they will refuse to work on it when they see the mods or not.

^^ can it be concealed?

what do you mean by vss and e-brake bypass?

Shortly after starting this thread I read AK370Z's post about a new TSB for '10 Roadsters nav units (http://www.the370z.com/nissan-370z-r...-roadster.html). It appears they just update the software without having to take the nave unit apart so I can hide my switch and they should be none the wiser.

Pharmacist, the VSS and ebreak bypasses allow you to fool the nav unit into thinking you are stopped when you are not. That way none of the menu items are grayed out when you are moving. See the DIY here: http://www.the370z.com/audio-video/1...ck-2010-a.html

yah, i too think they use maybe a CDR or something to update the firmware and not a hardware (board) replacement.

take it in a see. if they complain explain to them that your work has NOTHING to do with the iPod update.
