I like this quote………….”Hopping out of a NISMO 370Z into a Mustang GT was like dining at a fine sushi restaurant that has California rolls, which are perfectly executed, and then strolling into a restaurant with American cuisine, which lays down a Sloppy Joe”.

I was pretty surprised he thought the body kit on the nismo was "over the top". I think the kit looks great and makes the z look a lot sexier without having the look of an aftermarket body kit.

I THINK he might be trying to say something with a fine sushi restaurant carrying perfectly executed california rolls...maybe comparing the Nismo to a California Roll that should be cheap but it's well built?

I don't know, no one can be that stupid.

I think it was just a dumb writer trying to connect Japanese cuisine to a Japanese car that ended up with a major culinary fail.

That and California rolls are a terrible example of authentic sushi...

I mean ****, he could have at least said spicy tuna roll or something more appropriate

He was retarded on multiple fronts, we'll put it that way.

m4a1mustang 08-02-2010 01:35 PM

I agree.

A sloppy joe > california roll. That's just the truth.

lol I didn't even think of it that way. So true.

Poorly-composed, lame articles like this make me want to do automotive journalism just to show how retarded some of these guys are...

The problems I notice with most automotive journalists are:

1.) they don't know jack **** about cars, and don't hide this fact very well
2.) they think they know way more than they actually do, and drop technical jargon in incorrect or inappropriate ways making them look like complete idiots to real enthusiasts
3.) they are biased, paid-off ********
4.) they cannot write to begin with
5.) they glamorize the most boring, basic pieces of **** the same way they do proper sports and exotic cars

I can't figure out the greater of the two evils: automotive journalists or car salesmen. :icon14:

A Car & Driver journalist... that's what. Not only do they write about cars, they sell BMWs.
