Silver State Classic....

So I am thinking of signing up for this race in September. The race is over 90 miles of open road. I am going to sign up for the Touring - 110mph, which means I'm going to try and average as close to 110 as possible throughout the course.

I have a stock, yellow 09', Touring, 7AT, Sport package. I was going to do basically the same mods as I had on my 350, minus oil cooler......

HKS Hi power exhaust
Injen long tube intake, or Stillen
Nismo oil cooler (the dealership I work for also has Nissan)

Just the basic stuff. Do you think I need a tranny cooler?? Anything else?

^^ is it in nevada?
just looked it up, yeah its just north of vegas, If it weren't so expensive....

I personally would change the oil before the race, and after the race.

an oil cooler is a must, a tranny cooler....i dont think is necessary but i have not tracked my car yet so im not sure...

look into upgrading your brake pads. I one thing that has always bothered me most when racing is stock brakes always fading.
you WILL CHEW UP your tires, make sure they are in good condition.
