Heads up Display for Z
 

I really want to get a Heads up display. My buddy has one in his Corvette C6 and its awesome and useful. Im looking for one that has auto-focus and display RPM and MPH. I hear that PlasmaGlows are really good. Anybody have any suggestions?

do they have one that just plugs into the OBD2 port?

aha, if it's just for speed (for me) they have one with GPS... interesting...

Dude u prob never tried it. Its a great feature, I never thought about getting one till I saw it, u should check it out.

I had a Bimmer with HUD. It's Great when your Car comes equipped with it. Not so great when it doesn't, and you have to resort to cheap gadgets to make it work. Just my opinion. Have Fun :tiphat:

Ok, I laughed.

That said, unless you're going 0 - 60 in like 2 seconds, I can take the 1/10th of a second to look at the real tach and speedo.

Check the specs carefully. The one posted doesn't show mp/h, only kp/h.

Adds 2 1/2 HP.

im not sure how much light bleeds through on the other side of the windshield but if there's too much blue or green not legal for our state...

I like the old school way.

BTW, too many gadgets that don't do anything for you or the car.

The display on the vette is hot. I read they are adding hud to the 2011 camaro 2lt and SS as well.

I've got a HUD app on my iPhone that actually works pretty good. It's just the mounting on the dash that's tricky.
