Finally but what
:happydance:I have finally took delivery of 10 touring, auto, sport, nav. after 6 month . order it on 2nd week of Jan. thanks to the members feedback ,I ordered Stillen CB and had dealer install it. on my drive home noticed rattling from exhaust. went back and dealer stated that he did follow instructions but pipe was hitting the cross member. so he added shims to crossmember. did any one who installed Stillen CB have similar problem? is this the correct remedy? I love the sound of the system, quite but loud . will post pics later after I unglue myself from the seat

You shouldn't have to shim a new Stillen exhaust. Stillen remedied the crossmember clearance issue. Mine clears with plenty of space. Tell them to loosen all the exhaust joints and hold the midpipe up while retightening...no shims.

My dealer put shims in on my 350 and it actually increased the noise instead of reducing it. Gave more room for the pipe to rattle instead of holding it in place. Find a good muffler shop and have them bill the dealer. |
