ouch! Any damage to the car/wheel?

ResQguy 06-29-2010 11:50 AM

The wheel looks fine, but there are a few marks on the fender. Nothing a buffer won't take care of. The worst part is that I purchased the car used, with about 3000 miles on it, from a Mitsubishi dealership here in Orange County. They got the car from an auction in Florida. The previous owner put aftermarket wheel locks on....AND I DON'T HAVE THE KEY. I'm super excited about how I'm going to get the wheels off. :ugh2:

It's not gonna be easy, but it can be removed. Just make sure they don't damage the wheel or stud. At least you have an excuse to put wider tires on.

A shop can remove the nut without your key. If you want to remove it yourself, there is a diy on how to remove nuts without a key on the 350z forum.

I was planning on getting new wheels/tires soon anyway. It just sucks that I have to buy these now, too.

Just a regular blowout. Sounded like a bomb went off in my hatch.

I must be retarded :icon14: because I've been through the DIY section twice and haven't found that thread.

Dude!!! I've PM'd him several times, but he doesn't seem to be in a hurry. I'm ready to buy right now. I want those things!!!

Caravanshaka 06-29-2010 01:39 PM

Weird, he is selling the z so should be happy to sell them quickly. Thanks for the pic Lou.

I don't think he's too keen on wrapping and shipping the wheels from PA to CA. He was hoping for a local pick-up. They're a good deal, but those AG Mesh from VIP Status are starting to look pretty good to me too. I'm impatient.
