What I find entertaining is girls/women repulsed by manuals.

Normally goes something like this:

Female: why would you want a manual, isn't it *like* harder to drive?
Me: No, not really, and it gives you a lot more flexibility.
F: *Like*, like what?
M: Like this! (drop it a gear, change lanes and pass like a bat out of hell)
F, option A: HOLY ****, get me out of this thing *like* right now!
F, option B: HOLY *LIKE* ****!
F, option C: *Like*, Oh.

* insert/remove the extra 'likes' as IQ warrants.

option a only happened once, and thank god i wasn't dating that one.

And I honestly have heard the phrase "holy like ****." much :rofl2: was had by all at that one.

I think DC (dual clutch) people including, Jeremy Clark would see where paddle shifters are a fun inclusion cars that need to shift fast for times.

My 90 z is slow, but it goes. :) I've seen a LOT of fast 300zxs at the races...

Most of my chick friends aren't "repulsed" by manuals. In fact, most don't even know the difference between manual and auto. If I were in an auto and manually shifted, they'd think it's a manual, and most don't even know I'm shifting in a manual. One of my friends noticed me shifting and asked why I was shifting, THINKING it was an auto! LOL

I had a friend that asked me what the third peddle was for.

But I do have some chick friends that refuse to drive Autos! (And a couple of them are CUTE!) :)

can we shut this down?
