My 370 Z is back in the shop after 1 day

Picked up a 2010 PG 6sp touring sport Nav on monday but had to return it to the dealer on tuesday.

I was having the plastic paint pertection installed and the installer noticed a 4 inch scratch in the paint on the lower part of the hood.

I then decided to scrutinize the entire car and found a 2 inch rash on the passenger side front wheel.

No problems though as dealer repainting hood and replacing the wheel.

Won't get it back until Thursday however and the wait is tough to take!

I'm glad the dealership is willing to do that for you. Sometimes, once you drive it off the lot, it is your problem.

Hope you get it back soon, mate, and in prime shape!

you did the right thing by bringing it back real soon. some folks wait until a convenient time and by that time it's too late.

Great that the dealer took care of you it seems. Sucks it had those imperfections, but I guess stuff happens during shipping

Congrats on the car! Glad the dealer is taking care of you

i think the damage is understandable given it was shipped special order from japan. It then was off-loaded in the port of Elizabeth , NJ

It then was moved to a holding area where final items were mounted like the splash guards, etc.

they then moved it again via car carrier to the dealer in Pennsylvania where I picked it up.

Good thing I did a detailed examination though!

that's how most cars are transported so it shouldn't have any blemishes.
