'?' for Auto Z drivers...
 
just curious, when using ur paddle shifters... can u downshift more than 1 or 2 gears?

just wondering, (not getting an auto)

You mean at once? Like throw it from 6th to 3rd? No.

to answer what i think is your question (i asked the same question) no you cannot over rev the car by going down a gear at too high revs.

I think he might be asking about skipping gears...Like being in 4th gear, coming up to a sharp turn and quickly tapping the paddle twice to get down to second rather than going to third and then second.

if so the answer is no. Its always sequential

You can totally over-rev the car by downshifting too many gears at once. But it's sequential so you have to go 1-2-3-4-5-6-7 and back to 7-6-5-4-3-2-1.

You've seen your car go into redline just from downshifting on the 7AT? I certainly haven't. If it puts you under or over a certain RPM it will not shift.

That is just one too many gears to choose from.
