7AT: Does driving in manual mode change the way automatic shifts?

For example, if I use the paddle shifters for a bit...and then put it back in D, is the computer going to learn and shift differently according to the style I was driving in manual mode?

I know it does it in automatic mode. I'd be surprised if it did it in manumatic mode. My guess is no.

I definitely noticed better/aggressive shifts when driving in manual mode vs just in D mode.

Quick ? - does Z have just 2 modes for auto? G37 had D, DS, and Manual
