Easiest Way To Increase Horsepower?

Im looking for some performance parts, but I'm not really an expert about car tech. whats the best thing for my z in terms of hp gain for the money? im looking to spend anywhere from $0-1000.

hfc are by far the best....cheapest and it's been shown no matter what your first bolt on is they all produce 15ish hp and then bolt ons after that only adds a little to that.

 How much would one of these run me?

Well, they usually sell them in pairs... LOL ;)

But seriously they usually sell for about $350-$500. But if you buy one at that price, you get the second one (the other side) free. :icon18:
(just messing with ya)

they asked for help (3rd post, come on), telling them to search isn't really giving help. Why not
post a thread if it's well documented?

I looked at the ERZ high flow cats which are about $369, but on the same website they have the Takeda Intakes for $299. from what i got around here, they both get me between 12-15 whp; is any one better/easier to install or maintain than the other?

i believe takeda intakes are short ram which will net you very little if anything...cold air long tube intakes are the ones netting 12-15hp but also cost $500ish

Honestly, HFC offers the most bang for your buck (that's what I was told as I don't have HFC on my Z)

Trips 06-01-2010 12:17 AM

I agree, the best bang for the buck are the hfc's

Csquared 06-01-2010 02:19 AM

These!!

HFCs I think, but from what I remember in the g37 forums dollar for HP the best is TT.

If you don't count nos.
