What is the average wait time for a car to come out of port?
 

Last Monday on the 10th the sales guy i am working with called me and told me that the car was at the dealership, and he said he would double check the truck. Then he calls back and says that they are waiting for an invoice sheet, and it is in port and not at the dealer, he didn't specify how long it would take, I am curious though has anyone gone through a similar circumstance?

Now as a background, the car was ordered by another dealership just for standard lot fill under the same umbrella company, when I ordered they linked the 2 together and had the car get re-routed to the dealership I am working with. As that car filled the order hat i wanted down to the "t."

I am getting really impatient... hah... and just want the purchase over with and well so I can do some more of this :driving: with some :happydance:

Once a car hits the port it takes 2-3 weeks for it to arrive at the dealer. If they have it marked as sold, it will receive priority.

I'm with ya man. I ordered mine on 4/20. She was on a boat on her way over to america. She just recently got to port about a month later and now I'm looking at close to another 3 weeks before it gets to the dealer. So 2-3 weeks seems accurate from the the time it hits port to the time the truck brings her to your dealer.
