Looking at a 370,,?'s

Well my lease is due up soon. I tested a 370 a few months ago, and kinda liked it. Even being 6-2, I didnt feel too cramped inside.

I did notice my knee was kinda hitting the wheel on shifts, but I just wanted to test a 6 sp, and compare it to the powerband in my 335i.

I will be looking at an 7sp auto, and I want leather, and I dont care for any wing out back. White with black leather would be perfect!

So I guess the sprt package you get the rear wing and a limited slip diff.

If I just went with a touring package, do I lose the limited slip? And if so what kind of diff is out back? btw I dont mind the E diff my bmw has, you can lay dow two tire strips while going stright anytime.

Also the only problems I have seen are overheating, oil lose, and a loud engine.

Also how good are the shifts in the auto Z? Its not a double clutch system, but just how good is it? The bmw uses a ZF tranny in thier autos and its very fast and solid.

Thanks guys.

Yes, with just the touring you will lose the LSD. Unless you're going to track the car, it's not rally a big deal. Because there are aftermarket LSD's for the Z that are A LOT better. Also, for normal street driving you will not notice overheating(I'm assuming you're talking about the oil). The auto Z uses a very well made transmission that can adjust on the fly to your driving style, providing Synchro rev match on downshifts to give you that heel-to-toe feel. It's not a DSG transmission for sure, but it's still damn good and if you are interested in the auto then you won't be disappointed.

Yeah definitely dont let the LSD sway your opinion, the VLSD on the SP is absolute garbage. However, the SRM, wheels, brakes, wing, are all nice features. Overheating is only an issue if you track the car, so dont let that bother you. Its one of the better package deals you can get, I got a base because I knew from the get go i'd be getting rid of all that fancy sport package stuff, so the extra 3k wasnt worth it to me, but the sport package is by far one of steals of the additional package world.

The Sport Package LSD is actually fine for a street application. It's not ideal for track use, though.

You might have problems with the touring because of the electric seats, that is why I decide on the Base w/Sport Pkg., the seats goes back like an inch more.
