Different Seats?
I looked, but didnt find another thread about this. Sorry if that isnt the case. Anyway... Why do the two seats have different leather patterns? I have a 2010 Touring. Driver seat has a triangle of leather between the legs, the passenger seat, nada. Normal?

Pulled this picture off the net.
http://lotpro.com/blogphotos/Interio...20Interior.jpg I don't have the touring seats, but it looks normal, confirmed by the pictures. Extra support for the driver? |
Oh. If I were that smart, I could have saved everybody time and looked myself :) Thanks. It just looks strange.
|
It's all good. Funny thing is, it's the same on the non touring seats and I've never actually noticed this. You learn something new everyday!
|
the basic answer is that the drivers seat has been designed that way to hold the driver better in place while driving.

Daymn, I wish I had the persimmon!!!! STUPID cloth :(

Clearly it was done for crotch support, since they knew it would mostly be men driving. The women would be passengers, so no crotch support for them. :tiphat:
