Im going to look at it saturday. What should I offer?

quagmire87 04-21-2010 08:07 PM

try to do 26,000 for it. good luck.

tonybui 04-21-2010 08:23 PM

Too expensive for a 09 with that many milage !! I agree going for 26k or less

370Zsteve 04-21-2010 08:25 PM

$26K not a penny more with that mileage! Give them an offer, walk away and your cell phone will be ringing within 30 minutes

Xan 04-21-2010 08:36 PM

And ask to see the carfax first...

whoady4shoady 04-21-2010 08:42 PM

I have the carfax, and it is clean. 26,000 is way lower than KBB. You guys have me scratching my head. So $26,000 for a Touring sport with nav is the highest you guys think I should go? Sorry if I seem like a pest I just want to go in there with the right frame of mind.

m4a1mustang 04-21-2010 08:45 PM

What is the KBB value?

For a loaded Z I think $26k would be a very good deal, even with 14k miles.

kfscoll 04-21-2010 08:48 PM

Man, that's IDENTICAL to my '09 Z -- and I paid $35K (albeit brand-new) for mine two months ago. Based on the options it appears to have, the sticker on that car is a touch over $40K (Touring/Sport/Nav/MN6, illuminated kick plates but no splash guards -- not sure about the mats). I'm not sure what book is on these, but $29K seems reasonable to me. $26K would be a helluva deal! I think $27K would be a fair offer if you wind up getting it for $28K, even given the miles. 14K for a one year-old car isn't that bad at all.

On second thought, $28K not a penny more :ugh2:

They emailed me and told me they would let me have it for $28,500, but I am looking to get out of there at closer to $27,000. I think they will laugh at me if I offer them 26,000, but then again you never know. Im glad to get everyones opinions. Thanks guys. Keep them coming.

Well, $28K is my limit no matter what goes down, but lower would be nicer. I plan to spend a few hours there with an extensive test drive. I wont be in any rush. Any key features I should check on the vehicle/ things to be aware of? Thanks in advance.

Go with 27K and get the car. The sooner you'll get it, the sooner you'll get to enjoy the Z. BTW, one of the best (most desired) combo you got there on that Z (Nav with sports). I'd drive it

If they will let it go for 28.5 they will probably let it go for 28, which would be a pretty fair price for that car. I don't think 26k is that crazy of an offer, but it'd be a steal if they agreed to that. If you get in the 27.5-28 range I think you did well.

Thanks AK. Sounds good. Now can you call them and tell them they have to sell it to me for $27K.:tiphat:

Thanks m4. It has almost 2 years left on the factory warranty. Do you guys think I should bother looking into an extended warranty. I hearing no from most of the people I have talked to.
