Zele Aero Finally in Production

Many of you know this kit as one of the nicer kits that was released for the 370z at the 2009 TAS over 1 year ago. Unfortunately though, Zele was having production issues and wasn't able to get the kit released to the public.

Well now they finally have these kits set into production with pre-orders available, ready for delivery in Japan early May (which means late June arrival in the US via ocean)

I've added some pictures below to refresh you guys on these kits!

Kit was always nice, just sucked about the exhaust tips, though I am sure any exhaust can make custom tips to fit that rear bumper.

NYBladeZ 04-13-2010 06:05 PM

The price is going to keep this kit ultra exclusive, which works with the GTR not so well in the 370z market.

Thanks for the reminder, forgot to clarify that the Zele exhaust and Zele rear bumper are meant to work with each other only.

*The OEM exhaust will not fit the Zele bumper
*The Zele exhaust will not fit the OEM bumper.

SoCal 370Z 04-13-2010 06:06 PM

Mike,

Just want to know why the JDM market gets a serious rear license plate holder and we get two POS screws (that I went and purchased in SS and tossed the others)?

Oh yeah...Zele makes a nice kit.

I'd have a better chance dating one of the ENEOS girls than affording this thing O_o;;

Not that I need another kit...not like I've crashed my car or anything... :roflpuke2:

Hey SoCal if you want I bet I can weld something together for our license plates

Yes, you can click on the small pics to get linked to the website. It's priced around the same as the Amuse Vestito.

Probably the best 2 kits out for the 370z.

Wow actually...that's less expensive than Amuse...

dammit Mike! lol

Wait a second... you just bought a Amuse Vestito!
oic, NOW you can't afford it.. makes sense

Is that the OEM license plate bracket? If not, it may be something that Zele includes.

Umm... you must have not seen all those 350s and G35s rocking Kenstyle / Cosworth / and what not... if you make it - someone will buy it... I guarantee you - these will sell just like every other thing that costs so much from Japan-Land

XwChriswX 04-13-2010 06:59 PM

I love the Zele front end, but since I don't like the Zele exhaust, that takes out the rear bumper for me... And I'm planning to go with the F.I. Exhaust. Do you know of a good rear bumper piece that would work with the Zele front end? Or is mismatching body panels to suit my particular taste frowned apon? :ugh2:

antman22 04-13-2010 07:02 PM

such a nice kit...so expensive though....

DjSquall 04-14-2010 06:30 AM

Personally, I don't like the kit nearly as much as I like the girls.

I like the Amuse but why did they put the emblem back on? Is there an indent to were it should go or did they just put it on top for advertisement reasons?

phelan 04-14-2010 10:10 AM

^ no there's no indentation where the emblem goes. i'm personally leaving all emblems off, except for my 'fairlady z' badge in the back. i'm a cost-conscious dork y'know, don't want my $15 to go to waste...

:roflpuke2:

Ryan@Forged 04-14-2010 10:46 AM

Wow the Zele stuff really looks nice! :) Hopefully one of our local customers will pick up some Zele parts. I want to see these up close. :D

CrownR426 04-14-2010 12:37 PM

I think both kits are sick.
Can't go wrong with either the Amuse or Zele!

SE 04-14-2010 12:40 PM

Which z emblem is amuse using for the front bumper?

kenchan 04-14-2010 01:57 PM

yah, so wat do those vents do in the rear bumper, other than make the car look werd?

Are you referring to the lower left & right corners on the rear?
I believe it is meant to blend with the front bumper.

Mismatching is not frowned upon as long as it looks good :) Unfortunately, most of the mismatching done doesn't match up well for obvious reasons.

Another option you have is to customize the tip positions on the exhaust you'll be using. Stainless steel exhausts are easy to work with and most exhaust shops should be able to match up the tips with the bumper rather easily. The Zele positioning looks very close to the OEM.
All you have to do then is attach some different tips.

Might be too much trouble for some people, but I know there are some 370z owners that will want to do something like this. The cost isn't that much for such a simple mod, and it allows for fitment of the Zele bumper that no one else will have.

Looks like they're just using the same emblems as on the sides of the Z.

Without modification to the fender liner and possibly other things, it doesn't look to offer much function. I'd assume maybe some cooling in the tire wells or possibly exhaust. If adding a diff cooler to the car, this looks to be a go mounting location for the cooler filament.

Just a wild guess, but they look to be Volk Racing CE28n in Mercury Silver.

XwChriswX 04-14-2010 06:08 PM

Once Phelan gets his amuse kit put on and I can see it in color (Not White on a white background lol) It will help with my liking of it. I'm wondering if the rear bumper would look like sh*t in black? :ugh2:

370Ztune 04-14-2010 07:44 PM

The Amuse 370z is running CE28s; I believe the color is Ti silver. Their cars look great with this color. It's been the same color and wheel on most of their demos cars including the Touge Monster S2000, GT1 Widebody S2000, and Z33.

Chris, check out this link. Colin took some pictures of the yellow Amuse Vestito when we visited Amuse earlier this year. I think it would look great in black; not a fan of the yellow.

The front end doesn't look bad in color, but the rear end I dunno, the sides are good behind the wheels, but that center section is just too square for the Z's curves. I can't agree with it I'm sorry to say. :shakes head:
