Anyone from Charlottle, NC please help a brother out !!

Sorry I posted this here, but its urgent. I'm leaving tomorrow to go to Murtle Beach but don't know the way, last time I went was through local route and took 4 hours, is there a FASTEST way to Murtle Beach from Charlottle ?? Thanks.

And moderators, please delete this thread after tomorrow, I appreciate it !!

Ever heard of NOT living in Charlottle and last time from Mapquest, Google, Yahoo, Maps etc ... gave me a route that took 4 hours driving almost local ??

Just taking some suggestions from the local here.

They have these things called "MAPS". The Big, fast roads are in red, but I'm guessing they don't teach that in school anymore....:shakes head:

It's nearly 200 miles, of course it's going to take nearly 4 hours. There's no freeways going that way unless you drive all the way south to Columbia, but that would add 40 miles.

theres like 5 different ways. all of them take about 4 hours. i will tell you not to speed, going through all the small towns in SC are all speed traps.

wow.

Oh man that guy who said google maps was a smart guy. Especially considering they have pretty much every road and calculates the quickest route :ugh: lol

That's because it took you to Murtle Beach, that is actually 4 hours away, what your looking for is Myrtle Beach, its closer and much nicer. If you ever visit Myrtle Beach you will be very impressed. I've never been to Murtle Beach myself, how is it? Is it nice? Hows the beach?
