Z receiving the attention you expected?

Since I live in a relatively small city compared to major cities, my Z's been getting quite a bit of attention. Ranging from random dudes giving me thumbs up to seeing a crowd of people circling my car at the parking lot.

I know in a few months this flame is gonna burn out but I'm loving every moment of it. :driving:

I think in the smaller cities and rural areas the car will get more attention that a big city, as those people see high end cars all the time.

You live in Oklahoma, people are friendly and generally appreciate a good looking car.

All of the people that posted more actually have 370Zs. All of the people that said same or less do not. Either people have not updated their profiles or the 370s are drawing lots of attention.

When I test drove the 370 I was getting tons of stares. One guy even rolled down his window at a light to ask me what kind of car it was.

But I think in a few months to a year when they are more common, the 370 wont get as much attention. It will always be a good looking car though.

It gets about as much attention as I assumed a new car would.
Pretty positive reaction from everyone ive talked to.
Especially when I take them for a ride.

everyone at my work was like giving me high fives and stuff. people ask me about the car when i get out of the parking lot. lots of mofos been trying to get me to race on the street while riding. too bad i'm in the process of braking in the car.

I have gotten some attention rolling through downtown San Francisco, about as much as expected. A guy in a 997 Turbo craned his neck to get a look at my car which surprised me. Another dude in a white 350 weaved through all kinds of traffic to get next to me to give a thumbs up. And a slew of rubber neckers on the sidewalk...

there was this In N Out burger directly across a high school by my work place and all them kids were starring like crazy.

the second day i had the car i had this older black man with his wife honk and give me the thumbs up from his car. just today i was driving down and i came to a red light. i stopped and was waiting for the light to turn green when my friend next to me tells me to look to my left. i look to my left and i see this guy in a honda or a toyota give me a thumbs up and then a hot asian chick behind him in a 350z passed by me giving me the thumbs up. when i was getting the car i didnt think it would be like this but i guess people really like this car

People absolutely love this car! From stop light to restaurant parking lot to cruising in the highway -- you can't stop people from staring at the car. So far it's always been positive feedback. I expected a little attention but this is way more than I anticipated.

Today when i drove into my work a customer saw me drive in then found me while i was working and said "was that you in the black 280z?" I was like heheheh no sir but i was in a 370z

Sadly i feel i get more negative attention than i do positive. Positive to me is a z fan who loves a z. Negative is people yelling or honking at me, i dont need that at all, makes me feel like i am doing something wrong while driving, cuz thats the only time i ever get yelled or honked at previously hehe.

Nobody in my town (SF) gives a **** about $35k sports cars. For one, on average it's an anti-car town. Secondly, I see crazy rare cars worth more than the average home on streets and highways here on a regular basis. Maybe a half dozen people have appeared to notice it since I bought it. Good thing I only bought it for myself. :-)

As expected I guess. On the drive home from the dealership, I had a guy in an Aston Martin give me the thumbs up. That was pretty cool. :excited:

Im the only one living on base here. I actually caught my neighbor doing a triple-take on it, because she LOVES 350Z's....and never even knew the 370 was coming out. That was funny.

I was pulling out of my parking area, and I caught some younger kids driving by, and all I made out from the lips were, "new 370" as he was staring me down lol.

Was driving downtown and some guy asked me how I liked it, and complimented it.

All of the base security guards seem to like it :-p lol

Yeah, I wasnt expecting QUITE that much attention, I guess. I drove around a VERY obnoxiously loud 2000 Camaro that got some compliments, but I think it was less just because it was so loud haha...
