I don't think that's too far fetched.

Honestly it boils down to whatever floats your boat. Personally I got the Z over higher-powered muscle cars because I wanted my car to be balanced. Not just a drag queen. I've said it before and I'll say it again:

Mustang for the street.
Z for track/backroad fun.

Fixed.
Nissan will control the revival of the 240SX very heavily not to interfere with the 370z or GT-R. It will be cheap power, but they will also limit it so initial sales do not hurt current production vehicles.

Yes. Lol. This is also part of the reason. Most of us picked the Z over a muscle car. I bet you on the Ford forums or GT forums they are having a parade and :roflpuke2: - ing everywhere. Ford has really stepped up their game, and being an American I like that. Would I ever buy one? No. But I give it a

Nissan is going to have to do something drastic man, whether it be bumping up the Z's power, or creating another model intermediately priced between the Z and the GTR, with all these cars coming out with 400+ hp, it will only hurt sales if they dont.

You also have to factor in power to weight ratio. The 370z could easily come out with a slightly better flowing exhaust setup (IE aftermarket) and put down 350-70HP and compete with a stock 2011 Mustang.

This is a good point, but where they have us by the balls is the TQ, and I dont think the VHR will make alot of that even FI'ed :(

^Very true dreamer, I think Nissan has plenty up their sleeve when it comes to Tech, and I'm sure they have witheld plenty of that tech waiting for something to step up. I can guarantee by 2012-2013 the 370Z will have a HP bump and some new suspension geometry putting it right back on top of the game as far as performance numbers go. Nissan has the Tech to do it now, but in the meantime while the Z is still selling well, why not wait and let the others show their cards.?

Well, 3.7 v 5.0, not much you can do about that.
Currently Mustang has done a one up all around the, but in a few years lets wait and see what Nissan does.

Wow, I guess we were on the same page in our thinking with the future enhancements to the Z.

in a way im kinda curious to see what Chevy is going to come back with, i know the Z28 is in the works, but thats going to be direct competition with the GT500.

Well the GT500 is pretty worthless right now, until Chevy can figure out which end is its brain then we will not see a Z28.

I pulled this picture up and asked a few coworkers to guess what year mustang interior this is. They all said between the late 80's and early 90's. It's the 2011 Mustang's interior... That's just pathetic design.

Have you gone to a Ford dealer, and looked inside a Mustang? Or are you just judging photos, to base your judgment? That pathetic design as you call it! "Hasn't hurt the sale of the Mustang"!
