For the Zele pillar garnishes, we would need at least 10 orders for Zele since they're such small items. We can get it to the cost of $189 per pair for this quantity. Regarding the steering wheel, what style are you thinking? Keep in mind that you have options of stich color, carbon color, fabric material, and shape or wheel. If you like the style of the GT-R wheel picture I posted on the 2nd page, I can just copy something similar to that. I've attached a picture of the 370z wheel below (The silver switch surrounds can probably be done as well if you want) http://www.caranddriver.com/var/ezwe...cd_gallery.jpg Quote:

http://bespoke-public-product-images...39_175x131.jpg If you guys are serious about a certain thing, feel free to get a list going on here or even in another thread. Creating a new thread may be good to get it rolling faster. All there needs to be is 5-10 people for most things and you got yourself a usually much better price. I'll try to jump start some things on this thread by starting some lists. Quote:

Here is what we'll be looking at in terms of costs for the 3 exhausts Amuse offers. I need to confirm it with Amuse first before anything is solid, but I won't be able do that unless we have at least 5 serious guys. R1000 - $1900 range Extra - $2400 range Silent - $3300 range If anyone wants to jump start this thing, let me know and I'll get a list going on here. -Mike Bratcher |
How about some seats?

The HKS exhaust will be a little under $1800 with a group. For a stainless exhaust, my opinion is this exhaust is a little pricey; especially with exhausts like Amuse on the market that can be had for a few hundred more. Either way though, the decision is yours! Quote:

IIRC, the last time we tried an amuse group buy it flamed out pretty bad. :/
with that said, we've had many more members join the forum so maybe it'll fare a little better this time around. as for seats...what can you work with best? i see a lot of recaros and brides on the site...but i think i'd like to look at the reclining seats. not sure which of the recaros, but the two on the site i'd look at are the bride gias and stradia seats |
a deal in
Recaro seats and ZELE shift knob. I love the shift knob but 425 is steep. I know for a fact if we got a GB people would jump on it. |

Here are some numbers to give you any idea. The Recaros are in a different price range so I'll leave those out unless anyone has a special request: Bride Zeta, FRP - $600 range Bride Gias or Stradia, CFRP - $1400 range Cuga - $1300 range btw, loving the new avatar. I propose that you switch it with a new cute anime or japanese female weekly (at the least) Quote:

My only concern with buying seats is the sizing, I never feel quite comfortable buying a seat until I've actually seen it and sat in one. I know there's diff sizes and heights for the BRIDE seats so that'd have to be addressed. Definitely want a reclinable seat still as this isn't a total track monster...though get it down enough and maybe a Zeta III could work.
I'll switch my avatar daily if you give me a discount  hahaha |

For the Zeta, I have one if my AP1 so you're always welcome to come by downtown LA and try it out  For the Gias and Stradia, fitment is about the same so either one is fine. We don't have any around at the moment but I know a place in Torrance that should have them around. Btw, I daily my AP1 and even go to Vegas once in a while. It's a really comfortable seat even though it is a fixed bucket. I've been using the same seat for the past 4 years. I now find OEM seats more uncomfortable that the Zeta.. -Mike Bratcher |
Seats are on my to do list and one of the main reasons for me is height.
I am pretty average when it comes to waste, still would like to sit in one, but I would like to drop the seat an inch or two if possible compared to the stock seats. Options? I keep looking at the Gias low max and they look great, but no sure of anyone (or place) in Houston that has one. |

The Brides are generally the best option because of the quality for the price. Recaros are another option as well. If you can't find a local place that has the seats, you could try going to a car show. You're almost guaranteed to find one of the Brides there. I'm sure they won't mind if you take a quick sit in their car. -Mike Bratcher |
Any more ideas guys?

You guys ate all my money, I'm out until next year :roflpuke2:

Wheels! Preferable GTS'! in Gloss Black, that doesn't seem to be a normally stocked color.
But I'm in for seats too, that would be a nice change. I'm with phelan though, I don't wanna buy a seat I've never Sat in myself to make sure it fits me. I like that snug feeling  |
Let's get a group buy for the Volk TE37's!!!!!!! I want them so bad but can't afford $3800 :(

What sizes are you interested in? 19's or 18's? We can do Gloss Black but that means that all sets ordered in the group purchase have to be that color. Otherwise, we can mix and match any standard colors which are chrome silver and titanium gunmetal. http://www.rayswheels.co.jp/2009/upl...TS/color_1.jpg http://www.rayswheels.co.jp/2009/upl...TS/color_2.jpg Quote:
For RAYS wheels, we'll need to do a 5 set minimum. http://www.rayswheels.co.jp/2009/upl...37/color_1.jpg http://www.rayswheels.co.jp/2009/upl...37/color_2.jpg -Mike Bratcher |
I vote for the Bride Stradia LowMax seats please (any others want these?), I assume these will fit the average adult male (34-36" waist around), and for me these will be perfect for height adjustment since I am extra tall. :(

Mike- I'm looking for 19" for the GT-S'. And I'm not sure about the GM ones... They don't look 'black' enough, and aren't very glossy. Do you know of any pics of Gloss Black floating about? |

@370ZTUNE - man that fender vent in your sig needs to go into production.

If anyone else is interested in the Bride Stradia seats, all we need is 3 more seat orders and the deal is on!

Yeah that's what I thought, so I figure Stradia/Gias would at least pass off as identical enough to be part of a single GB.
|
If we can get 5 seat orders together with either Stradia or Gias seats, I'll find a way to keep that price. We need to get the orders first though!
"theDreamer" is correct, it's just the side bolsters. The upper portion of the seat is the same. In our BP demo S2000, we did the Gias; Driver & Stradia; Passenger and it worked out well. Also easier for passengers to get in since most aren't used to getting into bucket style seats. -Mike Bratcher |
