I really do not get why so many of you want TT or SC from factory, is it because you want a Nissan warranty? Either of those options would add probably 10-20k to the price of the Z and put it in another group which is not the point of the Z heritage. It is suppose to be for a slightly better sports car at a reasonable price. It competes with certain Porsche's already for 20k less almost, it is doing its job.

4. Sunroof can be for the 370z as well.
6. it is but it'd make me happy if the 370z got the option.
7. Yes i wouldn't mind 5-20kg more weight for slightly less road noise
8. But I don't want sensory deprevation just the z slightly modified
9. Nismo should be Nissan's M or RS or AMG. Yes it can double the price of the entry level if the performance gain will match. If they put out a 370z with sub-4 0-60mph with the same handling characteristics of the 370z then they will sell some 60k Nismos. They'll just need to produce a sub 3 GTR Nismo before they release the 370z Nismo (proper one)...

When I first got my Z, I also found that lurch to be disturbing. I found though that if I accelerate a little more than usual through those first few gears, the lurch is far less noticeable---almost non-existent. It worried me at first, fearing there was a defect in my car's transmission. But that technique has pretty much eliminated the problem for me.

I want mine to come stock with a MoTec system exhaust.

Oh yeah another good feature for the 2011 is to take away the DVD player and install a blu ray one instead.

1) better stock head unit (i mean, at least have one that plays mp3 cds...)
2) dual clutch transmission as an option

I thought the 2010 model already have this mp3 and aux options....i got it on my 40th model....

Will infiniti's m56 v8 fit?

bigdog1250 04-09-2010 01:27 AM

Put the goddamn Speedo up in the three gauge cluster on the dash again... who the **** got rid of that thing? That was the only gauge i'd ever use on my 350z.

bigdog1250 04-09-2010 01:28 AM

Also a Turbonator would be nice ;)

Supergoji 04-09-2010 08:42 AM

they should try and get more power out of the engine..
and try to get weight down. thats all it needs.

Sdlakersfan 04-09-2010 08:48 AM

Excellent point, that is the #1 thing I miss about the 350Z - the digital speedo.

brakedrift12 04-09-2010 05:20 PM

I think you have it here more torque makes everything move faster and feel better. The 4.0 liter in the Xterria would help, but its tuned for lower rpms, A sales manager told me the manual gearbox is smoother than the Zs. Give me the 5.6 liter V8, I would even settle for a smaller bore version.

Glad to see some other F-body owners, I have a 97 black WS6 that I drove today and the sound and torque of that V8 was great. The manual trans. in my Firebird is better than the notchy trans. in the Z. Shorter throws, a closer gate, my clutch was surpirsingly heaver than the Z.
