shift light indicator

i was playing around with the trip computer today
and saw that you can set the shift light to come on early.
as a default i believe its set to start blinking at 7500 rpm(redline).
i switched mine down to 3k just so i would stop hammering
the gas pedal to redline so frequently :icon17:
(my first 1200 miles averaged 19.. lead foot :icon17:)

by any chance can you set it so it beeps..?

Since I track my current car, I have found it to be a great feature if you set it at redline. It would start blinking a few hundred RPM's before the designated RPM which is convenient for track users.

I've never used a shift light. (Don't ask why)

Although, I'm sure if I had one, I'd use it.
