2010 370z OEM Front Spoiler Install
1 Attachment(s)
Does anyone have any info on how to install the OEM front spoiler? I'm actually trying to find out how to install the plug seen in the attached photo.

That looks like rear spoiler install. I'm looking for front spoiler info.
Thanks. |

It's a rivet. You need to temporarily attach the piece with tape and drill holes where the rivets are supposed to go. You will need a small rivet gun to install.
|
My bumper, at least my second bumper, had holes already drilled. All I had to do is cut the rivets off on the original bumper and rivet the spoiler onto the second, which already had the holes drilled. Im not sure of all bumpers are drilled already though...

I believe the 2010's have pre-drilled holes for installation.

If you don't have pre-drilled holes, there's actually no need to drill. These rivets are self-tapping. As long as you use a proper rivet gun, that spike will pierce the bumper cover and create the hole as it inserts the rivet. Then afterwards, the spike just drops out and you toss it away. That's how it worked on my car anyway.

whats this front spoiler? Is it the long piece of black plastic that came in the trunk?
Where does it go? Any pics? |

what is it for?

Aerodynamics. This piece is what gives the Z zero front-end lift.
