Was going for the 2-tone white and black paint job, but now....
 

BUT now I'm thinking Katskin leather seats and suede door inserts (autumn color), powder coated satin black wheels, custom painted headlights/taillights, matched black door handles and INGS N Spec front air dam. Placing order tomorrow for the Fast Intentions Exhaust and HFC's. I think interior and exterior will look so much better. I was really set on the paint job but many people have talked me out of it. What do you guys think?!! I'm going for the "murdered out" look.

I was thinking of doing the black on white theme, but now I want to focus on more power! Might have to bite the bullet, sell some parts, and go for the UpRev Osiris standard kit. Sigh....

If you get the seats all leather then they will probably wrinkle and stretch and look saggy. I would do leather and suade for the seats a suade for the panels.

Yea..I was really set on the paint job for months..waiting for March to come. Now that it's here I'm just like "well..I could apply all that money elsewhere" Plus I've heard it's a hassle to change the color of your car as far as the DMV goes. I'd rather add sound...HP...and of course "Sophia-ness" LOL I love the blacked out look! Drives me crazy! Now I can be fully crazy and so can my car :)

Yeah..I've heard about that. I still didn't check out all of Katskins options.... I'm working on it. I plan to have the car fully done by mid April :) I'm not going too crazy with the Z tho...trying to keep it somewhat clean. I see my new radio and speakers done by May (costs $2600 so I'm not rushing. The hubby's gonna buy them for me)

If you're still concerned about the swirls and scratches you could also wrap the car in matte black for a full murdered out look. Takes care of the paint and isn't that expensive (under $2k)

Yea.. the wraps look good but I don't think it's for me. I'd prefer a shine to the paint...even tho Id love to have the matte black paint job! But my mind is already made up....i just hope I dont get pulled over too much for the painted tails. Thanks to Tony at F.I., I should be receiving my cbe and hfc's around mid April :) Thats the most I'm excited about out of everything . As far as the black paint and all the swirls and scratches goes, I've got plans for a wax job every 3 weeks with my detailer. That should help quite abit.

Armensti started down that route, here is his album with pics of the emblems, side marker lights, and front emblems done. I haven't seen his Z since those pics, but he might have done more.

Well, as you can see by my site, I do retouchng as well. So, if you ever have some riskier photos you'd like to have "front cover" Photoshopping done to, PM me. You'll get good results and a promise of privacy--I don't post any photos on my site without permission (unless I snapped them in public).

BTW, we know the "Sophia Girl" is a car freak, tell us about your husband's car...

Oh, and one other thing. If that is your real name. Though I'm the 2nd oldest guy on here, my brain still thinks I'm a kid. Yea, that is my real name. And sadly my husband's truck is stock. I've offered to buy him 22's and a body kit but he doesn't want anything. He did let me get him new head lights and tails tho. His truck looks prety good stock so it's ok haha
