In a city of almost 500,000 people there are two 370Zs - one black and one blue. I don't think personalized plates are gonna make the car more recognizable....

Anyhow I tried for TI-3V0M we'll see. We have the lamest system for getting personalized plates - all caps only six characters and one optional space - that part is fine - the lame part is there is no way to check on the internet to see if the plate is available or even through the insurance agency. You have to send in $100 with your form (didn't have cheques and they don't take credit cards so I had to run next door and get a Money Order from the Post Office) then they check if its available/suitable and send your insurance agent the plates or your money back in four to six weeks... sigh...

...waiting for Texas to allow 7 character vanity plates. The standard plates are there, but the computer system at the tax office I went to would only allow 6 characters for custom. :(

On a side note, one of my pet peeves is personalized plates that only mean something to the driver. I've seen a few in this thread. Why advertise something that nobody else understands without an explanation?

lol nice... just noticed this thread.. I ordered ZOMG34 a few weeks ago here in IL. Still waiting for them to show up. Wanted to just get ZOMG but it was taken.. then was at a meet here in chicago last weekend and what do I see? some dude in a Z31 with ZOMG plates.. Bastard... :)

I got NSMOZ34 today.

I had at least 5 people ask me after telling them, "what does z34 mean?". Between that and the Fairlady badge, I may have a lot of explaining to do.
