Thanks for a great community
I'd like to thank everyone on The370Z.com for making this a great community. Over the past 11 months, I've gleaned more information and learned more about my car than I could ever have imagined possible. My car has become a passion of mine, and that's certainly in part due to the dedication, patience, cooperation, and generosity of those involved in this website. To the founders, moderators, and members alike....thank you for making this site what it is. All to often the internet spirals into the oblivion of name calling, degradation, and trash such as comments posted on youtube or forums like my350z. And then every now and again, the internet gives birth to something incredible like Wikipedia (amazing that info is accurate!) and this site.
So thanks, everyone. I know I'll continue to do what I can to keep this site helpful and at the quality it currently has attained. |

I agree. There is a lot of fluff floating around but there still are a great number of people who contribute a lot of knowledge and expertise to the boards.

I feel yah. Before coming here, I used to frequent ephatch, which had the same kind of ambiance.
The funny thing is, I see familiar avatars and names on the forum here, LOL. Its hard to find a good forum. I'm really glad the transition over wasn't a bad one. |

I've been a member of alot of different forums. This one is right at the top. It's also the first forum that I become a 'paid' member of, which for me is really saying something. Keep up the great work AK and all the Mods!!

Bravo Spearfish25! Well said, and I agree. Sometimes it surprises me that people, and mankind, still can turn out to be, ...well people, and not animals.
I did spend sometime (3 years) sailing through the Caribbean. I left this country because I was fed up with the bull**it attitude of the people I was surrounded by. And, low and behold, what did I find? Many fellow sailors who would risk their lives to help fellow sailors. Amazing! It was like some sort of volunteer fire department. It surprised me and made me re-think my values about people all together. The same sort of thing happens when, say, a hurricane strikes. People band together to help each other. It seems, when people are not competing against one another, the good in them really comes out. I did encounter SOME of the same things you speak of at the FChat site. Ask a question, and fellow enthusiasts would post elaborate, detailed responses including pics etc. Saved my butt several times, and I appreciated it. I do have to say that, aside from the very occasional hammering I have seen here, the 370Z forum is a GREAT place to share our passions with our fellow Z junkies. I too appreciate this forum, and would also like to thank all. My hats off to you fellas.... and women! |
