supercwf 02-02-2010 09:33 PM

Attention all you people 6'2 to 6'4 is it a comfortable car?

kevr6 02-02-2010 09:57 PM

6' 3" here. Just fits! Seats aren't the best but overall no problems. I have to enter a certian way to clear the steering wheel but that's no biggie!

I am 6'2" 190 lbs and feel quite comfortable.
The Z has only 2 seats and not 2+2 like Mustang and Camaro.
Therefore it has much more front room.

AutoX Z 02-02-2010 10:03 PM

I'm 6'4" and drive it every day.

Jjaden 02-02-2010 11:41 PM

I'm 6'5 and I fit fine, as long as the seat is slightly reclined no problems at all, very comfortable car, no issues with leg room or head room.

vipor 02-03-2010 09:01 AM

6'2 and I'm fine. The real question will be fitting with a helmet on. I'll be finding that out this weekend :excited:

You are 6'2", really? I felt like you were shorter when we meet....

vipor 02-03-2010 09:20 AM

I'll stand up straight next time lol.

sig11 02-03-2010 01:48 PM

I'm 6'5"... and all legs. :) I the back up and slide back all the way then lean the seat back as far as I can.

It's not too bad. I haven't been on any 10+ hour drives yet but I have done a couple 500 mile trips and those went OK. (I don't stop for anything but fuel.) Probably a little tighter than my 07 350Z was but much better than my 2000 Cavalier.

That's funny, my husband said the opposite. He's 6'5" as well and says he has more room in the 370. I guess it's just a personal preference thing.

MUST 02-03-2010 08:48 PM

6'2 in the morning and bout 6' by evening. drive the z daily. i got about 3 fingers clearance if i situp, but i usually slouch. i got more room in the 370 than i did in my '06 350.

Urbanracer 02-03-2010 10:36 PM

I'm 6'5'' and 225lb, I fit ok, with a helmet on is another story.

cajunz 02-03-2010 10:43 PM

I'm 6'5" and about 240. I just can fit in the car. Don't think it would work withh a helmet on though. For long road trips, the seats get a bit uncomfortable. The bolsters for your legs and back get a bit tight.

6 Foot 6 driver

I wanted a sports car that number one I could fit in and be comfortable. I`m 6'6" and I fit perfectly in my 370Z touring convertible! I test dove a half dozen sports cars before I knew this was the car. I have taken 9 hour drives with this car and no problems. My only caution is that depending on your build you may or may not fit comfortable. I`m more torso than legs, my concern was not leg room but head room, and there are no issues....

Im 6.0 250 lbs once im seated its fine, I find it a little difficult to get in and out without opening the door all the way out not too good for tight parking spots.
P.S do you work with ATR's just curious looking at your avatar

tjlazer 07-07-2010 03:25 PM

6'5" and 220. Fit good but my right leg is cramped with the console. With it had tilt steering.

You're right about that. I'm 6'3" and about 230. Comfortable in the car but after 3 months I still find it difficult to get my feet through the door if it isn't open all the way. I had hoped to get better at it with practice. I take way more than my share of our narrow garage and it sucks trying to get in if someone parks too close to me, but other than that there's no problem.

Oscar135 07-07-2010 08:13 PM

I'm 6'4 and all is great!!!

Sweet370 07-08-2010 07:39 PM

Im 6'3"- 205lbs- i can fit in it fine but its not as comfortable as my g35 i just traded in or the 350z i had- Theres not as much leg room because the seat doesnt go back as far as the 350z. Plus the lower back of the seat seems to stick out farther then both the g and z which im trying to get used to. Ive had the car less than 24 hours so I cant give a valid response but ill report after some time.

sonic370 07-08-2010 07:43 PM

no problem at all. in fact there's a little extra leg room just to the right of the foot rest that wasn't there in the 350.comes in handy on long drives.

Vegitto-kun 07-08-2010 10:22 PM

I am about 6"1, fits perfectly fine, though I do need to put the seat aaaall the way back. I am lucky my arms are long so I can still grab the steering wheel comfortable

medicbill 07-09-2010 07:16 AM

6' 4" and lovin' it! The salesman who sold me my Z is 6' 7" and he drives one, too! Don't let height stop you!

6'4 195, and I fit fine, but lets be honest, we fit because we want too, if it was a minivan I'd swear it was too small.......

Definately worth the squeeze though!

3SeventyZ 07-09-2010 06:09 PM

I'm 6'2" and fit comfortably.
