My Second Z! Got A Question
 

Had a Z a few years back, then went through a couple of Corvettes, a Z4, and most recently an Audi A6 which was the biggest lemon in the history of the automobile. Anyway, here’s my new to me Z - a 2014 Touring Sport 7AT with only 5,400 miles on it.

It’s going in Saturday to have the tint removed and get buffed, polished, and waxed to get rid of a few swirl marks.

My question is, is there a way to get swirl marks off the B pillars? Since they’re just shiny black plastic and not actually painted.

Should be able to polish them just like paint. As you can with most gloss black plastic on cars. Whoever is doing your paint correction has probably polished hundreds if not thousands of these as they are always terrible swirled.

Probably get more replies in the Detailing/Washing, etc section of the forums, but nevertheless, congrats on your purchase.
You can absolutely remove swirls from your B pillars. I have used Sonax Profiline Perfect Finish with a random orbital and a soft pad on my B pillars with great success.
