so i need to replace my clutch, master and slave cylinder. any advice on what product to buy? i just want reliable products with some performance incase i one day got aftermarket intake, exhaust, and headers if it's required. my 370z is a 2016 sport tech 6speed manual incase more information is require.

i have never bought these kind of product before, i'm used to oil filter and oil only. i also usually repair/replace/fix it myself or learn on youtube.

Call Joe@zspeed. Snag the Cmak kit and whatever clutch kit he recommends for your needs.

:iagree: Just call Joe, listen to what he says to buy, and then just buy it.

You bring your knife. I'll just bring my gun.

a lighter flywheel REALLY wakes up the engine and changes the driving experience

and since the slave is a failure point, might as well upgrade along the way

Why are you guys trying to get me to spend an extra $2k?! :shakes head:

What is the expected labor time for a full clutch kit with CMAK and Master Cylinder?

I just got my ZSpeed stage 2 clutch/19lb flywheel installed with CMAK.My car is relatively stock with boltons, was worried this setup would sacrifice my daily driving experience,so far I am relieved to say it drives really nice. The lighter flywheel doesn’t sacrifice dive ability at all, clutch is actually very smooth, smoother than stock but with better control and modulation.Yes,the pedal is a little more stiffer than stock, but 2 days in its forgotten.
Only negative is the addition of some noise at low rpms, mostly in 1st,sometimes in 2nd,kinda sounds like shaking a tin can with rocks in it.The stock set-up actually does the exact same thing, but with the DMFW it’s muffled, but still there. My installer actually made an error putting things back together, did not align the shifter plate properly and I was having a difficult time finding 5th and 6th.Fixed that and shifting is great.
Pretty much what others have said, looking forward to getting passed the break in stage!!:driving:

As much as anyone would like to say they love the cmak kit, stay away from it. Ive had both, and currently i have zspeeds V2. The V2 is WAY better. When i had issues with my CMAK i pulled my trans and needed a new one, im hard as **** on my car granted. When i pulled the cmak out, the pin was stuck and the little Y arm would barley move, i would have to stand on one end and deadlift the bar just to get it to move. You might ask why is that inportant? Well if its not moving back fast enough **** isnt engaging and disengaging fast enough and when your trying to shift quick it can cause issues. Also some turbo kits aren’t compatible with the cmak kit. If u do get the V2 then make sure u get some type of heat wrap for the clutch line, it can get hot depending on your setup. (I have a turbo kit so that area gets real warm)

At least ZSpeed addressed the problem. I used to have the Z1 kit - they had to send me revised parts every 10K miles because shìt kept breaking. I can tell you from personal experience that the CMAK is far superior to the Z1 kit.
