those number are so bogus..I paid $329 for 6 months full coverage with ameriprise insurance..LOL not bad huh.

Not too bogus on the insurance I pay more and BELIEVE ME i shopped around. But heck I'm twenty lost my license twice (no accidents just tickets:tup:) I used to pay 2400 a year but i have enough driving experience now that it dropped to 1850 a year. It gets stored winters though so i only actually will pay around 1100 a year(my beater is $65 a month), i spent 150 a month on gas, about 400 on maintenance thanks to ester oil, and i paid off about 12G from my loan then spent 4G in the aftermarket :)

Just called today... I am trading in my Mustang on Saturday on a 2010 370Z base with the sports package manual (also lighted door trim and floor mats) and was quoted 369 for 6 months. I am in Nashville, TN and thought that wasn't bad...

LaSeeno 01-22-2010 11:02 AM

Damn, who do you all insure through?

John Bradley 01-22-2010 11:40 AM

I'm 606.00 a year.. State Farm 42 yr old thats with 500/250 deduct.

RavenRonnie 01-22-2010 12:22 PM

Allstate here... and that is with accident forgiveness and safe driver rewards...

Insurance is going to vary on so many factors...(Age, zip code, rating of car, your credit score, driving record etc.), so its hard to say whats good and not for each other. I pay 86 a month for the Z in the Uptown area of Dallas with a clean driving record and 36yrs old.

Wow. I knew it. I should have kept driving my 1980 Ford Pinto instead of buying this expensive Z. Darn it!!! :icon18:

Damn, no hybrid tax credit.. lol

There should be a "not driving a ghey hybrid car credit"

So much BS in that site.. Besides the insurance stuff... I find it hard to believe that your state "fees" go down every year, last time i checked license plate renewal fees never go down..

And what could possibly cost 1099 in maintenance in the 3rd year?

idiots

Wow. I dunno how you guys are getting such low rates.

I'm 29, no accidents, no moving violations, and the best I could get was ~$860 for 6 months with Mercury. Companies like State Farm/Allstate wanted ~$2000 for 6 months.

That's why I buy used vehicles; they're already depreciated and, if CR tags 'em as "Much Better Than Average", I just go for it! I struck gold with my Z. BTW, in general terms, you guys are getting better deals than yours truly on the insurance department. Then again, Puerto Rico is sharks' territory in many areas, including the insurance racket...errr, I mean, the insurance "business"!

if you live somewhere in montana with a population of 100, i'm sure your insurance would be cheap like most people here.

but i live in california, man, with sun, surf, and beautiful blonde girls. Gotta pay more on your car insurance.
